Beloit
Welcome to Beloit
Beloit sits right on the Wisconsin and Illinois state line and has become one of the most exciting comeback stories in the region. The historic downtown along Grand Avenue is walkable and full of local restaurants, boutiques, and coffee spots, with Riverside Park and the Rock River just steps away.
Home to Beloit College, founded in 1846, the city blends small-town friendliness with a lively arts, food, and events scene. The riverfront ABC Supply Stadium brings Beloit Sky Carp baseball downtown, and the Saturday farmers market is one of the busiest in the state.
Buyers love the variety here: classic older homes near the college and downtown, established mid-century neighborhoods, and newer construction on the east side. With I‑90 and I‑39 on the city's edge, Janesville is about 15 minutes away, Rockford about 25, and Madison about an hour.
